Privacy policy

Deck Railing Toronto collects the minimum information needed to quote and schedule railing work, and we don't sell it, rent it, or use it for anything beyond running this business. This page explains what we collect and why, in plain language, consistent with Canada's PIPEDA.

What we collect and why

• Quote form: name, phone number, city, railing type, and optional measurements or notes — used to prepare your quote and contact you about it. The form does not upload photos.
• Calls and texts: if you call or text, we have your number and the photos you send, used the same way.
• Lead source data: the form also records how you found us (search terms, referring site, campaign tags such as utm parameters or ad click IDs) so we know which channels are worth our advertising dollars.
• Analytics and advertising measurement: we use Google measurement tools to understand pages viewed and buttons tapped, and to count quote requests, phone taps, and text taps that follow a Google ad. These tools may process your browser, device, page, and campaign information. Measurement starts enabled. After an ad visit, Google may temporarily replace our displayed phone number with a Google forwarding number and use call connection and duration information to count calls that reach 30 seconds. We do not use personalized advertising, and this website integration does not record call audio.

Where it goes

Quote details flow into our lead tracking sheet/CRM and stay within the business. Measurement data is processed by Google under its own terms. Photos you choose to send by text are used to quote your job — never published without your okay.

Retention

We keep lead and job records only as long as reasonably needed for business, legal, and customer-service purposes. Attribution data stored in your browser (localStorage) expires after 90 days.

Cookies

Google measurement starts enabled so we can learn which ads lead to quote requests, phone taps, texts, and calls. Google may set measurement and advertising cookies and may show a temporary phone number that still reaches us. Advertising personalization remains disabled. You can switch to limited measurement at any time; that choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days and restores our regular business number.

Your choices

Ask us what we have, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email sales@deckrailingtoronto.ca or call (437) 428-9008 and we'll sort it out. Browser settings and Google's opt-outs cover the analytics side. You can also change your Google measurement setting at any time.
