Privacy policy

Deck Railing Toronto collects the minimum information needed to quote and schedule railing work, and we don't sell it, rent it, or use it for anything beyond running this business. This page explains what we collect and why, in plain language, consistent with Canada's PIPEDA.

What we collect and why

• Quote form: name, phone number, city, railing type, photos you attach, and optional measurements or notes — used to prepare your quote and contact you about it.
• Calls and texts: if you call or text, we have your number and the photos you send, used the same way.
• Lead source data: the form also records how you found us (search terms, referring site, campaign tags such as utm parameters or ad click IDs) so we know which channels are worth our advertising dollars.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, buttons tapped). This is aggregate usage data.

Where it goes

Quote details flow into our lead tracking sheet/CRM and stay within the business. Analytics data is processed by Google under its own terms. Photos of your property are used to quote your job — never published without your okay.

Retention

We keep lead and job records for our business and warranty purposes (5-year workmanship warranty means at least that long). Attribution data stored in your browser (localStorage) expires after 90 days.

Cookies

The site itself sets no marketing cookies at this time. Analytics may set cookies as described above. If we add advertising pixels later, this policy and an on-site notice will say so first.

Your choices

Ask us what we have, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email sales@deckrailingtoronto.ca or call (437) 428-9008 and we'll sort it out. Browser settings and Google's opt-outs cover the analytics side.
