Framed glass railings in Toronto & East GTA
Framed glass railings put tempered safety glass inside powder-coated aluminum posts and a continuous top rail. They start at $120/linear ft installed across Toronto and the East GTA — open views at a working price, built to Ontario Building Code.

What you're getting
The frame
Powder-coated aluminum posts anchored to your deck or concrete, with a top rail that ties the run together. The coating is baked on — it doesn't peel like paint and never rusts.
The glass
Tempered safety glass panels, clear or tinted. The frame carries the load, so panels are easy to handle and straightforward to replace individually if one ever gets damaged.
The install
We measure on site, fabricate to your exact runs and stairs, and install — most jobs in a single day. Mounting is engineered for wood decks, concrete porches, and stone steps.

Framed glass questions, answered
Why choose framed glass over frameless?
Price and practicality. The aluminum frame carries the structural load, so the glass can be thinner and the system costs roughly $20 less per linear foot than frameless. The top rail also gives you something to lean on and stiffens the run in windy spots.
What does framed glass railing cost in Toronto?
From $120 per linear foot installed, plus a $250 base price. A straight 30 ft deck run calculates around $3,465–$4,235 before extras like old railing removal or complex stair sections. Our estimator gives you a range in seconds.
What glass and frame options are there?
Clear tempered glass is standard. Tinted (grey or bronze) is available where you want privacy or glare control. Frames are powder-coated aluminum — black is the most popular, white and custom colours are available.
Is the glass tempered?
Yes. Every panel we install is tempered safety glass, which is what the Ontario Building Code requires in guards. If it ever breaks, it crumbles into blunt pieces instead of shards.
Can framed glass go on stairs?
Yes — framed systems handle stairs well because the rail follows the stair angle and the glass is cut to suit. Stair sections take more fabrication and install time, so we confirm the layout before firm pricing.
How do I clean it?
Same as a window: glass cleaner or soapy water and a squeegee. The powder-coated frame just needs an occasional rinse. No painting, no staining, no sanding — ever.
